The City of Kyoto and the Advanced Scientific Technology Research Institute of Kyoto (ASTRI) are developing R&D and commercialization support through industry-academia-government collaboration in order to promote science and technology in the Kyoto region and the development of local industry.
We are pleased to announce that the “Next Generation Industry x University Venture: Technology Development Project for Solving Social Issues” will be implemented as follows to provide grants to university researchers working on solving social issues in Kyoto City.
This project will promote the revitalization of Kyoto industry by linking university research results that contribute to the creation of next-generation industries to social implementation, and by encouraging university-launched ventures to start up.
