Oku-Ibuki Kanko will hold a grand opening on June 18 of three new twin domes with terraces on the water at its large-scale glamping facility “GLAMP ELEMENT” (60-1 Ikeshita, Maibara, Shiga) in Shiga Prefecture, where guests can enjoy an elegant space.
GLAMP ELEMENT is a popular facility where glampers can enjoy glamping in a luxurious atmosphere and in a location overlooking the famous Mt. This time, a new area, “Sylphide Area,” based on the concept of “wind,” has been created, with three twin rooms.
Each of the twin rooms is of three different types, inspired by the images of “calm,” “breath,” and “forest,” and is equipped with a toilet and a shower room. Guests can relax on the water terrace feeling the fresh breeze, and enjoy outdoor cuisine that changes with the seasons. At night, guests can enjoy a quality time while gazing at the moon reflected on the surface of the water.
The “Outdoor Dinner Course” for dinner features seasonal ingredients such as bagna cauda with local vegetables and scallops in shells Burgundian style, while for breakfast, guests can choose between Japanese and Western-style meals. All meals are prepared and cleaned up by the concierge and served on the deck of each room.
The use of the Twin Dome is “all-inclusive,” meaning that all room, food, and beverage charges are included in the room rate, as well as approximately 120 types of alcoholic drinks. Guests can enjoy original cocktails, soft drinks, café menu, etc. at the “Elemental BAR,” which has an adult atmosphere.
