Leather Studio Sudaku has launched a pre-order sale of hunting chairs produced in collaboration with three Kyoto-based craftsmen on Makuake. The period is from May 26 to June 30.
A leather craftsman, a woodworker, and a steel craftsman in Kyoto, each with a small workshop, brought their knowledge to produce a hunting chair. The seat is made of cowhide leather (Himeji leather), the legs are made of a durable material with a wood texture, and the fittings connecting the three legs are custom-made of stainless steel.
It has also undergone “JIS S 1203: 1998 – Chairs and stools – Tests of strength and durability,” a test equivalent to that of ordinary furniture chairs.
It is available in four colors and priced from 28,600 yen.
