Wan-taxi” is a demand-driven shared-ride cab service designed to promote tourism and improve daily transportation during a large-scale tourism campaign in the three northern Tohoku prefectures. Tsugaru-n” is a nighttime demand-driven shared-ride cab service that connects Kanida Station on the Tsugaru Line to the Imabetsu and Mitsumaya areas, and can be used to get around home. The service will be available on weekdays from July 1 to September 30, except Saturdays and holidays, and will be dispatched at Well Crab in front of Kanita Station at 21:00.

Fares are 500 yen per trip for junior high school students and older, and 300 yen per trip for elementary school students and younger, persons with disabilities, seniors 75 and older, persons who have returned their driver’s license, Adult Holiday Club Pass and Seishun 18 Ticket holders, and residents of Imabetsu-cho and Togahama-cho with a My Number card. Wan-taku” also offers a one-month pass for ¥3,000 for residents of Imabetsu-cho and Sotogahama-cho only. On the “Tsugaru-n” service, commuter pass holders who commute to school from or to any station between Shonokuni and Mitsumaya on the Tsugaru Line will pay 100 yen per trip.

Reservations are required for both “Wan-taku” and “Tsugaru-n”. Reservations can be made one week in advance and up to 30 minutes before the desired boarding date.
