KLM Royal Dutch Airlines announced on May 27 (local time) the introduction of a new cabin class, Premium Comfort.
This new class of service offers unique service options in a slightly more luxurious and roomy seat than Economy Class, and is more affordable than “World Business Class”.
The number of seats ranges from 21 to 28 depending on the aircraft. Legroom is up to 17 cm wider than in economy class, with a large 13.3″ monitor, movable footrest and legrest, universal power supply, and USB port. The recliner can be tilted up to 20 cm. Catering will also be provided with a unique “Premium Comfort” menu for a comfortable flight.
In addition, a maximum of two pieces of luggage can be checked in, and the number of carry-on baggage items will be increased compared to Economy Class. At the airport, Sky Priority is applied and passengers can enjoy exclusive lanes, priority boarding, and other benefits.
Premium Comfort” will be introduced on North American routes and will be expanded gradually from the end of July.
