Logos Corporation has started pre-sales of the “LOGOS x Bankoyaki Tabletop Water Stove,” a collaboration with Bankoyaki, a traditional Japanese industry, on the crowdfunding site “Make” until July 15. The price is 5,380 yen for the super early bird discount.
This charcoal stove can be used on a tabletop, and its body is made of ceramic strong enough to withstand an open flame.
This is a water stove in which water is collected in the ceramic body and a fire bed is placed on top of it to ignite the charcoal, preventing heat from being transferred to the body and reducing the risk of the table being burnt by the heat from the stove. The stove is said to be ideal for cooking that gently and gradually heats the food to lock in the flavor, as the temperature does not rise too high even when heated for long periods of time. It is lightweight and easy to use, and can be washed with detergent after use, making it easy to clean.
