Toei Movie Village will hold a collaborative event with the TV anime “Oni-no-Blade: Blade of Demons” from July 23 to October 17, 2012.
The event will be held mainly at the open set/yugakuza, named after the setting of the yugakuza version of “Blade of Demon’s Ruin.” Impressive scenes from the play will be reproduced as photo spots for each character, and photos of scenes from the anime will also be on display. There will also be indoor exhibits for visitors to enjoy through physical activities.
The event’s limited edition illustration features five characters, including Sumijiro, Izuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, and Tengen, holding uchiwa (Japanese fans) in a summer-like manner. Each of them is holding a “Kyomaru Uchiwa” with their name on it, which is distributed as a summer greeting in Kyoto’s Hanamachi district. Collaboration goods such as clear uchiwa fans, key chains, and can badges will be available.
In addition, a collaboration train jacked up by “Oni-no-Baiden” will run on Randen, a streetcar running in Kyoto City.
