Sun Meadows Kiyosato Highland Park will begin operating its newest attraction, G-KART, on July 16.
This hands-on attraction, in which riders race down an incline under their own machine control, will utilize a ski slope at an elevation of 1,700 meters. Two courses, a “beginner course” for beginners and an “advanced course” for experts, are set up from the start point adjacent to the summit stop to the base area. The beginner course is safe and easy to maneuver for children and first-time riders, while the advanced course is varied with short straight lines and irregular curves.
The vehicle does not require power from an engine or motor, and its speed can be controlled and advanced by operating the brake lever on the steering wheel. The body color is matte black and burning orange.
Fees are 4,000 yen for adults and 3,100 yen for children on weekdays, and 4,200 yen for adults and 3,300 yen for children on weekends and holidays, and include 3-ride experience, 1-day lift ticket, and helmet rental.
