Kinoshita Kaihatsu, a hotel operator, will open “Natural Hot Spring Achi Hoshiori no Yado Yamahoshi” (2007-4 Komaba, Achi-mura, Shimoina-gun, Nagano Prefecture), a Japanese inn and glamping facility, on July 17.

The wooden first-floor building is built in a pure Japanese style with a luxurious atmosphere and has a total of eight guest rooms. In addition to enjoying the natural hot spring and rooftop sauna, guests can go river fishing in the Achi River that runs right in front of the hotel, and at night they can take part in the “Starry Sky Night Tour” held at an altitude of 1,400 meters above sea level. The hotel is located in Achi Village, Nagano, which is known for having the “best starry sky” in Japan.

The dinner menu, of which we are particularly proud, is supervised by “Towa,” a Michelin-starred meat restaurant in Nishi-Azabu. Guests can enjoy a kaiseki course featuring carefully selected ingredients from Minami-Shinshu in a modern Japanese-style space equipped with a sunken hearth. The main dish, Ozaki beef, is available in shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, kushiyaki, and beef cutlet. In the morning, the restaurant offers a Japanese breakfast that focuses on water and ingredients. Every morning, spring water from Achi Village’s Seinaiji is used to cook Koshihikari rice produced in Minami-Shinshu and dashimaki tamago (rolled egg) made from local eggs.

Meanwhile, a glamping facility attached to the ryokan will open at the same time. The four guest rooms are spacious, hemispherical dome tents. Dogs can stay in these rooms with their owners, and a dog run is also available. For dinner, guests can enjoy meat dishes, grilled skewers of local vegetables, and a huge seafood paella (60 cm in diameter) in the barbecue garden located near the dome tents.

These facilities are also eligible for the Shinshu Discount, which offers a 5,000 yen discount on room rates of 10,000 yen or more per person after the Shinshu Discount is applied. In addition, guests using the prefectural residents’ discount will be offered Japan’s first luxury beer “ROCOCO Tokyo WHITE” as a welcome service. All 13 prefectures (Nagano, Gunma, Saitama, Niigata, Toyama, Ishikawa, Fukui, Yamanashi, Gifu, Shizuoka, Aichi, and Mie) are eligible.

The Irori Kaiseki plan is 33,000 yen per night with 2 meals (based on 2 people sharing a room), and the Glamping BBQ plan is 26,600 yen per night with 2 meals (based on 3 people sharing a room).
