JAL Sky Sapporo, in cooperation with Naganuma Town in Hokkaido and Hokkaido Chuo Bus, will hold the “New Chitose Airport JAL Staff Tour! The tour, organized by JAL SKY Sapporo employees, will be held on August 27-28.
The theme of the tour is “Coexistence with the red-crowned crane. Departing from the Sapporo Chuo Bus Terminal, participants will first attend a lecture on red-crowned cranes and community development at the former Maizuru Elementary School. Next, the bus will take visitors on a tour of the Maizuru River Recreation Area, including the restricted area, and then to “Bird Station Maoito” for observation. After returning to the elementary school for an in-flight lunch, visitors will experience feeding the cranes at the Haiji Farm before returning to the starting point.
On July 11, JAL Dynamic Package will begin accepting reservations on the JAL Dynamic Package Optional Tour website and the Hokkaido Chuo Bus website and by phone. The fare is 7,500 yen.
