Seibu-Prince Hotels Worldwide is operating Oiso Long Beach in Shonan from July 9 to September 11.
Oiso Long Beach can be reached by car from Tokyo in about 45 minutes or by train in about an hour. A wide variety of pools are spread out along the sea for about 1 km. A 140-meter-long waterslide, a wave pool, and a diving pool with a maximum height of 19 meters are available. Fees for a one-day pass are ¥4,200 for adults, ¥2,800 for junior and senior high school students, ¥2,200 for elementary school students and seniors (65 and older), and ¥1,000 for infants (3 to preschool age) (free in July).
Events such as swimming lessons taught by lifeguards and swimming competitions for elementary school students will also return. In addition, three different saunas supervised by the sauna brand “Methos” have been newly introduced. Visitors can experience a trailer sauna, a barrel sauna, and a tent sauna. The sauna fee is 1,300 yen per hour (with one rental towel).
On September 11, the last day of the event, “SUP YOGA FESTA 2022” will be held. This is an activity to enjoy yoga on the water on a stand-up paddle board. Advance tickets are 2,500 yen, and day-of-performance tickets are 3,000 yen.
