I stayed at Ensana Health Spa Hotel, a 5-star spa hotel founded in 1896 I stayed two nights in Marianske Laznje at the historic spa hotel called Ensana Health Spa Hotel. Most of the guests are spa treatments for medical health programs, and this hotel is especially focused on healing musculoskeletal disorders, liver diseases, metabolic disorders, digestive system, and respiratory system. Of course, general tourists can also stay at the hotel. They offer a full range of wellness programs, including massages, mineral baths, hydrotherapy treatments, swimming pools, saunas, and fitness, and it is common for guests to stay for two weeks to a month after receiving specialized medical guidance.
A spa experience in a sparkling mineral bath with natural CO2 I decided that since I was going to stay two nights, I had to have some kind of spa experience, so I tried the “Mineral bath with natural CO2”. All you have to do is soak in warm water for 20 minutes, then wrap yourself in sheets and blankets for 20 minutes and rest! (Laughs) But it was quite good. If you like super public baths, you probably know what a “carbon dioxide spring” is. The water is infused with carbon dioxide gas (carbon dioxide), and when you quietly enter the bath, fine bubbles adhere to your body, and the carbon dioxide in the water is expected to promote blood circulation and other effects. At the super public baths I sometimes go to, there is a “highly concentrated carbon dioxide spring” that I like, but the spa experience I had this time was something even better than that. Super public baths use a machine to artificially generate carbon dioxide gas, but here it was a natural carbon dioxide spring! The water temperature was quite low at 33 to 34 degrees Celsius, and when I entered the spa I thought, “It’s so cold! I thought it was cold when I entered, but I soon got used to it. The bathtub was large enough for me to stretch out my legs, so as I relaxed in the tub, bubbles were forming in the bathtub, and the bubbles were so big that they were not comparable to those in super public baths. After about 20 minutes, the therapist came in and asked me to go to bed, and when I lay on my back (completely naked), she wrapped a sheet around me like a mummy, covered me with a blanket, and left me to play again. I felt my body warming up and it felt so good…(outtout ……). Then there was a knock at the door and I was told, “Yes, that’s it, the end. Please change your clothes. My body felt lighter, my head felt clearer, I can’t really describe it, but I am sure it felt good for my body. It was the first spa experience that I had ever had. Ensana Health Spa Hotel has a total of 97 rooms. I think the room I stayed in was a “Double Superior Deluxe” category, but it was spacious and comfortable, and since it was on the first floor, the terrace was spacious, and I woke up to birds chirping in the morning. I wanted to experience the pool inside the Roman baths, which the hotel boasts, so I got up early on the day I checked out and went in. It’s not often you get a chance to swim in a pool that uses mineral water from its own source. I also took a bath in the sauna attached to the hotel. It was a short stay in Marianske Laznice, but I was able to experience European “health tourism.
