Tokyo Metro will begin one-man operation at Yurakucho Line Kotake-Mukaihara Station to Shinkiba Station on August 6.
One-man operation is already in place at Wakoichi Station to Kotakemukaihara Station, and preparations are also underway at Kotakemukaihara Station to Shinkiba Station. The entire Yurakucho line will now be in one-man operation. There will be no change in the timetable accompanying the shift to one-man operation.
In the one-man operation section, the train will be operated automatically by ATO (Automatic Train Operating System), while the doors will be opened and closed by the driver using a monitor. In addition, the company claims that the platform door sensors and other devices will not interfere with safe operation.
