glampark and natural hot spring ryokan Shikisou jointly opened the first glamping facility in the Izumo City area of Shimane Prefecture, “glampark Shikisou” (1369 Gakuto, Hikawa-cho, Izumo City, Shimane Prefecture).
Located 10 minutes by car from Izumo Airport. Located in “Yunokawa Onsen” in Izumo City, known as a sacred place for matchmaking.
A tie-up between “Onsen Ryokan Shikisou,” which has Yunokawa Onsen, known as one of the three most beautiful hot springs in Japan, and “glampark,” which operates a new type of glamping facility that combines glamping with hotels and inns.
Since the hotel is limited to two groups per day, you can spend a relaxing time in a private space. The hot spring on the grounds of Onsen Ryokan Shikisou offers not only indoor but also outdoor hot spring baths, where you can enjoy the Japanese seasonal atmosphere of cherry blossoms in the spring, colorful fresh greenery in the summer, and autumn leaves in the fall.
Separate sauna facilities, which are rare in Japan, are attached to the building. The partitioning of the sauna facility allows for more heat to be stored, creating the ultimate sauna experience. A water bath with a depth of 160 cm and an open-air bath provide an exquisite “tonoi experience” surrounded by nature.
The BBQ course uses a variety of local Shimane Prefecture ingredients, such as finely marbled Shimane beef with a subtle sweetness and fresh turban shells caught in the rough seas of the San’in region. The “Beer Can Chicken,” which is an essential part of an authentic American BBQ and is made from a whole whole chicken, is also visually impressive.
All the equipment necessary for outdoor activities is provided, and a wide variety of amenities are available.
