Keihan Electric Railway Co. Euphonium,” an anime series that takes place in Uji, will begin on August 1.

The film tells the coming-of-age story of the members of a brass band at a fictional high school. It depicts famous places and events in Uji City, as well as trains and stations on the Uji Line. A “Stage Tour MAP” will be distributed at major Keihan Railway stations and various locations in Uji City, as well as a digital stamp rally where visitors can take pictures with AR characters.

In the digital stamp rally, participants who visit three checkpoints set for each period will receive “My AR” to take a photo with the characters at a place of their choice. Participants can participate by downloading the “Stage Meguri” smartphone application and accessing the dedicated page within the application.

In addition, from August 1 to November 30, life-size panels of the characters will be installed. The panels will be displayed at four locations: Chushojima Station, Rokujizo Station, Obaku Station, and Uji Station on the Keihan Line. In addition, a wrapped train will be operated, special tickets will be sold, and the Kyoto Tower Hotel “Hibike! Kita-Uji High School Brass Band Room” at Kyoto Tower Hotel will also continue.
