Hanshin Koshien Stadium, operated by Hanshin Electric Railway, will launch the “Hanshin Koshien Stadium 100th Anniversary Project” on August 1.

With the cooperation of “Dokaben,” “Star of the Giant,” “Touch,” “H2,” “MIX,” “Diamond A,” “Play Ball,” and “ROOKIES,” baseball manga associated with Koshien, a special key visual featuring a large group of characters from each work has been created.

The “Hanshin Koshien Stadium 100th Anniversary Commemorative Wrapping Train” decorated with characters from famous baseball manga and numerous photographs tracing the history of Koshien Stadium. The train will run until December 2024.

The “Hanshin Koshien Stadium 100th Anniversary Manga Collaboration Movie” is a dream collaboration project realized with the cooperation of famous baseball manga associated with Koshien. The first movie, “The Sacred Koshien Arc,” is composed of famous scenes and lines related to Koshien, carefully selected from all 269 volumes of each work, and conveys the realistic feeling of high school baseball and the excitement of Koshien. The second and subsequent editions will be released as needed.

In addition, as a commemorative project, a participatory digital album “100 Years of Koshien Memories Created with You” will be created, inviting people to submit photos via SNS, the Internet, or by mail, and share them as a page of the history spun at Koshien. The album will be made available on a special website (scheduled for the summer of 2023), and will also be introduced on the Hanshin Koshien Stadium 100th Anniversary Commemorative Wrapping Train (with gallery-style posters hanging inside).

In addition, the National Final Round of the MIZUNO BASEBALL DREAM CUP Jr. Tournament 2022, a national youth baseball tournament organized by Mizuno Corporation, an official sponsor of Koshien, will be held on December 10 and 11.
