Hawaiian Airlines resumed scheduled nonstop flights between Haneda and Honolulu on August 1 (local departure from Hawaii) with seven flights a week, operated daily.
At a ceremony held at Haneda Airport on August 2, Theo Panagiotoulias, Hawaiian Airlines Senior Vice President of Global Sales & Alliances, said, “Starting in August, daily service will resume on the Haneda route, and the Narita and Kansai routes will also increase to daily, for a total of 21 flights a week. Before Corona, we were operating 42 flights per week, so we are now able to bring our operations back up to 50% of what they were before Corona. Hawaiian Airlines is pleased to offer a more convenient option to the people of Japan by operating from three different airports. Detailed schedules for each route can be found on their website.
In addition, Hawaiian Airlines is running a campaign on its official Instagram to win a round-trip ticket to Hawaii by lottery until 11:59 p.m. on August 31. The campaign is in commemoration of the nationwide release of “Lunch Pack (Loco Moco and Macaroni Salad)” and “Lunch Pack (Haupia Cream Style)” supervised by Hawaiian Airlines in collaboration with Yamazaki Baking Pan (available until September 30).
