LINE CONOMI conducted an awareness survey on summer vacation outings on its “LINE PLACE” spot search and posting service.
The survey results showed that 76% of all respondents said they had three or more days off during the summer vacation period. Of these, more than 70% had “outing plans” for overnight or day trips.
Many respondents answered that they planned to go to “restaurants, etc.” and “shopping malls, etc.,” while less than 25% each answered that they would go to “parks/gardens,” “camping/BBQ,” and other spots where they would spend long hours outdoors. In addition to the impact of the new coronavirus infection, it is believed that many people avoid spending long periods of time outdoors due to the extremely hot weather.
The most common partner/spouse for all ages to go out with during summer vacation was “partner/spouse,” followed by “children” and “friends/acquaintances.
