NEXT will open its first “Ladle” private sauna (1-4-4 Nishi-Gotanda, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo) on October 1. Prior to this, the company will begin accepting advance reservations on September 1.
From entering to leaving, changing, sauna bathing, cold water bathing, and resting are all completed in a private space. All private rooms are spacious, and in the sauna room, you can stretch out your legs and lie down on a spacious 2-meter-long bench.
Both the rest and sauna rooms can be dimmed. With a Bluetooth connection to a smartphone, one can relax by listening to music that matches one’s mood. The Atmoph Window’s moving images and sounds make it seem as if the world’s landscapes are spread out before your eyes.
The sauna room is made of Japanese cypress wood, and the benches are slightly elevated to allow visitors to feel the heat. A sauna stove made by MISA, imported directly from Finland, is used, and by pouring aroma water over the stones, visitors can enjoy the sound and aroma of the rising heat and slowly spreading steam.
For cooling down, overhead showers use chilled water cooled to 15°C by a chiller. All rooms are equipped with individual air conditioners and circulators to cool down your body.
In addition, a powder room is available exclusively for women. The room is equipped with a Dyson hair dryer, hair iron, lotion, milky lotion, body cream, cotton, hair brush, hair elastic, cotton swabs, etc. The room is not included in the usage time and can be used even before check-in.
Towels and various amenities are free of charge. Rates are 3780 yen for 60 minutes and 4780 yen for 80 minutes for single rooms, and 8780 yen for 100 minutes for double rooms (same gender only).
