Toei Oedo Line to operate on Saturday and holiday schedule on August 10 due to substation trouble

Posted on 2022-08-102022-08-10 by News Admin

The Tokyo Metropolitan Transportation Bureau announced that the Toei Oedo Line will operate on a Saturday and holiday schedule from the first train to the last train on August 10 due to a substation trouble that occurred on August 9.

On the Oedo Line, operations were suspended on all lines at around 11:18 a.m. on August 9 due to a power outage, and resumed at around 11:35 a.m., but were again suspended on all lines at 5:05 p.m., resulting in unstable operations.

The Bureau is still investigating the cause of the substation trouble, and has informed the public that it will be providing transfer service on subway lines and other lines, such as JR East, throughout the day.
