Elecom will begin general sales of a “portable power supply” with lantern (29,800 yen), which was previously sold on a support purchase site, in late August. A “mobile solar charger” (39,980 yen) with a maximum output of 75W will also go on sale.
The portable power supply with lantern features a design and ease of use that makes it easy to use in everyday life, unlike conventional rugged-looking products. Despite its small size and light weight, it is designed with a large 54,600mAh capacity, and is equipped with USB Type-A (3 ports) and USB Type-C (2 ports) to charge up to 5 smartphones at the same time. It is also splash- and dust-proof IP44-compliant, making it ideal for outdoor use.
The mobile solar charger, on the other hand, achieves stable and high output (up to 75W total) by using a high-efficiency conversion solar panel with 105W power generation performance. It can be recharged wherever sunlight is available. The three-fold type with a handle makes it easy to carry, and the USB Type-A (2 ports) and USB Type-C (1 port) allow charging of portable power supplies, so the two products can be used together as disaster prevention goods in an emergency.
