Emirates Airlines announced that it will invest US$2 billion (approximately 269 billion Japanese yen) to “improve the in-flight experience,” and at the same time disclosed details of its new service.

Award-winning professionals have been hired for in-flight meals. New menu items such as fried salmon trout are already available in first class, and will be offered in business and economy classes starting September 1. Each class has also begun offering a vegan menu that requires advance reservations. In addition, flights departing from Dubai will offer fresh vegetables from the newly established supply chain.

In addition, an all-you-can-drink “Dom Pérignon” champagne with Persian caviar was launched in First Class, and an in-flight entertainment system with 5,000 channels of video and music was introduced.

In addition, the airline has undergone a major renewal of its fleet of aircraft and has added a new “Premium Economy Class” to its fleet. The company plans to announce further service enhancements in the near future.
