HOTEL R9 The Yard Kaizu, a container hotel that will serve as a disaster prevention base, will open in April 2023.

Develop will open a container hotel, HOTEL R9 The Yard Kaizu (557-1 Imao, Hirata-cho, Kaizu, Gifu Prefecture), in April 2023.

Kaizu City is located in the southernmost part of Gifu Prefecture, adjacent to Mie and Aichi Prefectures. Known as a city that nurtures water, greenery, and culture, it is also a thriving agricultural area due to the existence of high-quality and abundant underground water. It also has good access to major cities in and out of the prefecture, and is attracting companies to its industrial parks.

Construction of the hotel was initiated following the introduction of the former Hirata Town Hall, a city-owned site in Kaizu City. The hotel will have a total of 34 guest rooms, including 29 double rooms, 3 twin rooms, and 2 deluxe twin rooms. Independent guest rooms with excellent privacy will be equipped with a spacious unit bath, refrigerator-freezer, microwave oven, and humidifying air purifier.
