JR “Otoku-no-Kippu” Ticket partially available for use on the West Kyushu Shinkansen “Kamome” which will open on September 23.

JR West Japan announced that it will make some changes to the handling of the “Otokunai Ticket” sold by the JR Group in conjunction with the new opening of the Western Kyushu Shinkansen (between Takeo Onsen and Nagasaki).

New “discount tickets” to be handled

Japan Rail Pass The Japan Rail Pass is also valid on the newly opened West Kyushu Shinkansen line, and the price remains unchanged. For detailed conditions of use, please refer to the Japan Rail Pass website.

Zipangu Club Discounts are also applied to fares and express fares for the newly opened section of the West Kyushu Shinkansen. However, when transferring at Takeo Onsen Station without exiting the ticket gate, the ticket is sold as a single express ticket (limited to use between Mojiko and Nagasaki, when transferring from Relay Kamome to Shinkansen Kamome). Discount rates and annual fees remain unchanged. For other detailed conditions of use, check the “Zipangu Club Guidebook” distributed to Zipangu Club members.
