Fujikyu Group will hold a collaborative event to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the birth of “Hatsune Miku” at Fujikyu Group facilities in the Atami area, centering on “Hatsushima,” the closest remote island from the Tokyo metropolitan area, and “Tokuni Pass,” which offers a superb panoramic view. The event will run from August 27 to November 27.
The highlight of the event will be a special operation of the “ILD BAKANCE III,” a liner that connects Atami Port to Hatsushima Port in about 30 minutes, and the Tokunitoge Cable Car, which connects the foot of Tokunitoge Mountain Pass to the PANORAMA TERRACE 1059 observation deck with a superb view, jacked up by Hatsune Miku and her friends from Pier Pro Characters.
During the period, those who ride both will receive an original clear file (not for sale) with a newly drawn illustration.
This collaboration, the first in Atami, features a full lineup of menus and goods. Ten different menu items are available at the Terrace Restaurant ENAK in the resort facility “PICA Hatsushima” (1113 Hatsushima, Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture), and eight different items at the TENGOKU CAFE, a take-out cafe at the top of the Tokoku Touge mountain pass and other restaurants. One original coaster will be offered with each order.
A special corner selling original goods limited to this collaboration will also be set up at the Atami Port, hotels, and stores at the foot of Tokoku-Toge Mountain.
In addition, the Atami Seaside Spa & Resort (6-53, Tokaigan-cho, Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture), a hot spring resort hotel located along the Atami Sun Beach, will offer collaboration rooms with large windows and picture frames decorated with newly drawn illustrations to add a touch of cuteness.
Rooms will be available in two versions, the Hatsushima version and the Tokoku Touge version, and novelties such as originally designed aloha shirts and clear pouches available only to guests will also be offered.
