Mizuno will release driving shoes “BARECLUTCH” on September 20.
While ensuring cushioning, the sole section, which utilizes knowledge from training shoe development, features “MIZUNO COB” to increase sensitivity of the sole. It combines comfort and pedal feel. The midsole, which is in contact with the sole, has a structure that works in conjunction with the unevenness of the outsole to accurately transmit information from the outsole.
The outsole is rounded at the heel and winds up to the side and rear portions, increasing the area of placement with the floor and improving stability, as well as making it easier to pedal in and out.
Soft artificial leather is used for the upper. The company says that it has improved the fit when driving and walking.
Available in black, navy, and white, sizes range from 24.5 to 28 cm, and weigh approximately 240 g per pair (at 27.0 cm). The price is open.
