CITIZEN releases “Thermosensor” wristwatch

Posted on 2022-08-242022-08-27 by Editor in Chief

CITIZEN WATCH will release a reissued design of the Thermo Sensor wristwatch with temperature sensor from the “CITIZEN COLLECTION” record label on October 6. Prior to the release, pre-orders will be available from August 24.

The “Standard Model” is a modern interpretation of the original design released in 1983. The separate bezel screwed on is three-dimensional and edgy, and the decorative screws on the band, which were also used in the original, have been reproduced to create a retro-futuristic atmosphere. The Ref JG2126-69E is priced at 34,100 yen and the Ref JG2120-65A at 33,000 yen.

The “BEAMS” models are two designs with opposite color schemes that take advantage of the separate bezel structure. The lineup consists of two watches with a three-dimensional color scheme based on silver and black, accented by the case color and translucent dial. The Ref. JG2129-61H is priced at 35,200 yen, and the Ref. JG2128-63E at 34,100 yen.

The “BEAUTY & YOUTH” model is a special-order all-black model with an urban and sophisticated impression. The retro atmosphere and sophisticated coolness coexist in the finish. The price is 35,200 yen.

The “JOURNAL STANDARD” model has a silver case with a black bezel and a gray dial for a fashionable look. It is priced at 34,100 yen.

The “On Time Move” model has a simple, cool, all silver-colored design. The bezel has a mirror finish, and the metal-looking dial gives the watch a crisp look despite its one-color design. The price is 33,000 yen.

The “TiCTAC” model has a striking green dial. The band, case, and bezel are unified in silver for a unique yet well-balanced design. It is priced at 33,000 yen.
