Club Tourism and ASICS to host “Mountaineering Ability Assessment” tour

Posted on 2022-08-262022-08-26 by Editor in Chief

Club Tourism and ASICS launched sales of “mountaineering ability measurement tours.

The program is designed to reduce the discrepancy between the level of climbing and the difficulty of the mountain, and to prevent accidents and descents.

ASICS’ original mountaineering ability measurement quantifies muscle strength and physical fitness levels, and a medical record is created and visualized to confirm important physical fitness factors for mountaineering in advance. Furthermore, based on the measurement results, individual training content is proposed for each person.

Step 1 is a preliminary desktop training session, followed by a simple physical fitness test, and Step 2 is an actual mountain climbing session. The results of the measurements will be documented and communicated to each participant.

Preliminary training sessions will be held at the Shinjuku site on October 9, 12, 15, and 22. The on-site practical tour will be held at Mt. Takao on October 16, 19, 22, and 29. The price is 3,000 yen for the advance training and 12,000 yen for the on-site practical tour.
