JR West will offer the “J-WEST Point Reward Ticket,” which can be purchased using the company’s “J-WEST Points,” from August 29 to October 28 exclusively through e5489 (purchase must be made at least three days prior to the date of use; valid from September 1 to October 31).
This ticket allows passengers to use a reserved seat in a standard car between Shin-Osaka Station (in Osaka City) and Hiroshima Station (in Hiroshima City) to Kokura and Hakata Stations on the Sanyo Shinkansen. The price is 7,000 yen for travel to/from Shin-Osaka and 5,000 yen for travel to/from Hiroshima (same price for adults and children). However, passengers will be required to pay 5000 yen for the Shin-Osaka and 4000 yen for the Hiroshima journey with J-WEST points. A limited number of reserved seats are available through e5489.
In addition, one cup of hot coffee (regular) sold in the car is available free of charge during the period of use.
