Star Flyer and Japan Airlines announced a capital and business alliance. Star Flyer, which aims to provide “new customer experience value” that transcends the boundaries of air transportation, and Japanet, which pursues the expansion of travel products and new sales channels, will work together to strengthen regional development business.
In conjunction with this, they will jointly produce in-flight monitor content to provide travel information on northern Kyushu. In addition, the two companies aim to collaborate in the product sales business by introducing Japan Airlines’ products in in-flight magazines and monitors, and by developing original products to be sold in-flight. Furthermore, the two companies will work together to improve the efficiency of the in-flight sales business by utilizing Japan Post’s logistics, and conversely, to jointly develop new travel products by utilizing Star Flyer’s air transportation services.
