In mid-August, Rakuten Mobile began offering 4G and 5G communication services for the first time atop Mt. Fuji.
5G communication service is available near Mt. Fuji Kenga-mine (3776m above sea level), and 4G communication service is available on the Hachi-mori (round-the-mountain tour). In addition to the summit, 4G communication services are now available on three mountain trails (Fujinomiya Route, Susuguri Route, and Gotemba Route).
For the mountain trails, 4G communication service is available all year round. For the Yoshida route, communications and calls are available as a partner line area.
