Hirafu Capital will hold the grand opening of its lifestyle hotel Sansui Niseko (204-24 Yamada, Kutchan-cho, Abuta-gun, Hokkaido) on November 23.
Located next to the Niseko Grand Hirafu ski resort, one of the best ski resorts in Japan, the hotel was designed by award-winning architect Makoto Nakayama. It is said to feature a modern design that combines a private retreat-like space with convenience.
The hotel is equipped with ski-in ski-out access to the slopes, and the ski counter offers ski gear rentals for all levels of skiers, from beginners to experts.
Each room is decorated in soothing colors and features a comfortable bedroom, kitchen, and laundry. Large windows offer views of Mount Yotei and Annupuri. The large bathhouse is equipped with an indoor and outdoor hot spring, and there is also a private hot spring available for family use. SANSUI SPA offers a full range of massages and treatments, allowing guests to relax and unwind after a day of winter activities.
There are three restaurants in the hotel. Sushi Shin by Miyagawa, a sister restaurant of the three-Michelin-starred Sushi Miyagawa in Sapporo, serves Edomae-style sushi using ingredients from the four seasons. Dining by LUPICIA” by Lupicia, a famous tea company, offers Western-style dishes made with carefully selected local ingredients from breakfast to dinner. At LUPICIA Boutique, which sells souvenirs and other items, visitors can enjoy light meals, original craft beer, wine, and other items while gazing at Hirafu Hill.
