APA Hotel has signed a franchise agreement with Nishimachi and agreed to rebrand and open an existing hotel in Soka City, Saitama Prefecture, as APA Hotel (1-7-20, Sezaki, Soka City, Saitama Prefecture) on November 1.
The 97-room hotel is located a three-minute walk from the east exit of Tanizuka Station on the Eastern Skytree Line and about 15 minutes by car from the Soka Interchange on the Tokyo Gaikan Expressway. The Soka area is home to the Soka Kakinoki District Industrial Complex, where food manufacturing is thriving, as well as tourist resources such as Soka Matsubara, which has been selected as one of the 100 best roads in Japan, and is expected to attract a wide range of lodging demand, not only for business but also for sightseeing.
For the opening, guestroom facilities will be renewed to “new urban hotel” specifications. In addition, a one-second check-in machine has been introduced. By using the app check-in system (online payment in advance and completing room selection from 3:00 p.m. on the previous day for “APA Direct” reservations and from 3:00 p.m. on the same day for OTA reservations), the check-in procedure on the day of the opening will be greatly simplified.
