“Sotetsu Grand Fresa Kumamoto” opens near Karashimacho Station

Posted on 2022-09-052022-09-05 by Editor in Chief

Sotetsu Hotel Management will open the Sotetsu Grand Fresa Kumamoto (2-2-23 Shimodori, Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture) on December 6.

The hotel, the first Sotetsu Hotels directly managed hotel to open in the Kyushu region, is located a four-minute walk from Karashimacho Station on the Kumamoto City Tram and a six-minute walk from the Kumamoto Sakura-machi Bus Terminal, and is spacious and functional enough to accommodate leisure travelers.

There are 247 guest rooms (184 double rooms and 63 twin rooms *including 3 universal twin rooms). Guest rooms can be unlocked with a smartphone, eliminating the need to carry a room key (for app members only). In addition, the hotel has installed a whole-house water purification system, “Ryosui Kobo,” and all water in the hotel, including the guestroom sinks, showers, and toilets, is “SOUBISUI,” which is gentle water. Prices start at 6480 yen for double occupancy, 4880 yen for single occupancy, and 6800 yen for twin occupancy.

To commemorate the opening of the hotel, the “Opening Commemorative Plan” was established to offer a discount on accommodation, and reservations began on September 1 via the official website and official application. In addition, the first 1,500 guests (in order of arrival) will receive novelty goods to commemorate the opening.
