Ace’s new products exhibition for spring/summer 2023, will large suitcases make a comeback?

Posted on 2022-09-132022-09-13 by Editor in Chief

Ace held an exhibition on the products it plans to launch in the spring/summer of 2023.

In the past few years, demand for travel has decreased due to the Corona disaster, and sales volume of suitcases, which is the company’s forte, has not grown, especially under the circumstances where overseas travel is difficult. The company has responded to changing needs by expanding its lineup of small suitcases that fit in coin-operated lockers, ideal for short trips, and backpacks for telecommuting businesspeople who carry laptop computers.

In sharp contrast to this trend, this year’s exhibition featured a lineup of new large suitcases in excess of 70 liters. With Japan’s entry restrictions expected to be eased in stages in the future, the company has returned its focus to its signature suitcases in anticipation of a recovery in travel demand.

In early February, Proteka plans to release the “FreeWalker GL,” which can be pulled horizontally or vertically as well as vertically, and can also be pulled sideways thanks to the use of large, 70-mm-long Bearon casters that provide smooth rolling.

Until now, suitcases with color variations have mainly been colored on the body, with black as the common color for handles, casters, and other parts, but the “Stalia CXR,” which goes on sale in early March, has a unified coloring in every detail. It will be available in five colors: gun metallic, blue-gray, white, garnet red, and chiffon blue.

ace. brand will also feature the Furnit Z with genuine leather handle, the Palisade 3-F frame type, and the Argonum 2-F aluminum luggage.

Aside from suitcases, there will be new products from various brands, including the latest model of the “Gadgetable” series of business backpacks, the stylish “Crossling” sling bag, the “Zippy Tote” with detachable PC case, the “Kanana Project” series that has evolved to use sustainable materials, and licensed brands from overseas such as Orobianco,” “Zero Halliburton,” and “Brix,” all of which are licensed brands from overseas.
