Chichibu Railway will revise its timetable to coincide with the opening of “Fukaya Hanazono Premium Outlets” (169 Kuroda, Fukaya, Saitama Prefecture) on October 20. The timetable will be revised on weekends and holidays from October 1, and on weekdays from October 3.
Under the revised timetable, express trains will newly stop at the Fukaya Hanazono Station, and trains will run significantly more frequently between Kumagaya and Yorii Stations. The number of trains operating at the Fukaya-Hanazono Station will be 92 trains (current 60), 46 each on the upper and lower lines on weekdays, and 94 trains (current 58), 47 each on the upper and lower lines on weekends and holidays. In addition, extra trains will be operated during peak periods such as outlet openings and sales periods.
In addition, station name signs will be renewed and station numbering will be introduced in anticipation of a future recovery in inbound demand. The numbering will be a combination of “CR” and two digits.
