NEXCO East Japan Nagano Construction Office will enforce all-day two-way traffic restrictions on the Joshinetsu Expressway (E18) between Sakaki IC and Koshoku JCT due to renewal work. The period is from October 12 to December 20.
The work will include box culverts on the main line to prevent landslides. The current four upper and lower lanes will be reduced to two lanes over a distance of approximately 2.0 km. In anticipation of the narrower lanes in the restricted section, the company is asking drivers to observe the speed limit and maintain a safe distance between vehicles.
