Ghibli Park has released the latest information on the main area, “Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse,” one of the three areas to be opened in the first phase of the park.

The museum is a huge facility that houses a video exhibition room, three special exhibition rooms, a store, and a café. In the 170-seat “Orionza” video exhibition room, all 10 short animated films produced by Studio Ghibli that are shown only at the “Mitaka no Mori Ghibli Museum of Art” will be screened in sequence. The film shown at the opening is “The Whale Bird”.

There will be three special exhibits: “Ghibli’s Narrative Scenes Exhibition,” “Painting Eating,” and “Full of Ghibli. The exhibition includes three types of special exhibits: “Ghibli’s Famous Scenes”, “Painting to Eat” (revised and expanded edition), and “Ghibli is Full of Exhibits”. Visitors can enjoy a hands-on exhibit where they can enter famous scenes and become the characters of Ghibli’s works, an exhibit that unravels the secrets of the delicious-looking food in Ghibli’s works, and an exhibit of posters, video and music packages, books, and other items from Ghibli’s works collected from all over the world.

In addition, original products will be sold exclusively at Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse. The café will also offer sandwiches and pizzas inspired by the meals that pilots on long-distance flights eat with one hand while flying. The “Milk Stand Sibelian” will offer locally produced milk in originally designed bottles and “Siberia,” a confectionary that appeared in the film “The Wind Rises.
