JR Kyushu and JR West have issued a warning that trains may be significantly delayed or suspended on some sections due to the approaching typhoon No. 14.
JR Kyushu has decided to suspend all “Umisachi Yamasachi” limited express train service (between Miyazaki and Nango Stations) on September 17, while JR West has announced that all conventional lines in Hiroshima and Yamaguchi areas may be cancelled after the evening of September 18.
The date, time, and extent of the service suspension may change depending on the path of the typhoon, so please check each website for the latest information.
