Tourism Expo Japan 2022, one of the world’s largest travel events, is being held at Tokyo Big Sight (Ariake, Koto-ku, Tokyo) for four days from September 22 to 25.
At the booth of Kadena Town, Okinawa Prefecture, a questionnaire survey was conducted to win novelties featuring the yuru-chara “Imocchi. Visitors who answered a questionnaire about tourism in Kadena Town would start a roulette game and win a tumbler or a sticker depending on the result of the game. The stuffed animal of Imochi, a potato spirit that was sent down by Fusokunushi Nokuni 400 years ago, welcomed visitors at the booth.
