The Saudi Arabian Tourism Organization is exhibiting for the first time at Tourism Expo Japan 2022 (September 22-25), with the lifting of the tourist visa ban beginning in September 2019 serving as the backdrop for the event.
Although the country has a strong image as an oil-producing country, it is also said to have a high spirit of hospitality, having hosted millions of pilgrims annually since ancient times as a country that holds Mecca and Medina, the sacred sites of Islam.
Large digital signage is installed in the booth to introduce the highlights of Saudi Arabia. There are many tourist attractions with high historical value, such as the Old City of Jeddah, which is registered as a World Cultural Heritage site, and the Turaif district in Diluiyah. A corner is set up where visitors can take pictures with these representative tourist attractions in the background, making it easy to enjoy the feeling of visiting the Kingdom.
