Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture, and the Sasebo Tourism and Convention Association have launched an “electric vehicle preferential policy” that visitors can take when they visit Sasebo’s main tourist attractions in their environmentally-friendly EVs.
Nissan will also lead the promotion of the Japan Electrification Action “Blue Switch,” which aims to reduce the environmental impact and disaster preparedness through the widespread use of EVs, and will work with local dealers and others to promote this initiative.
As a preferential benefit, users can receive special offers at eligible tourist facilities and hotels by presenting their electronic ticket and EV key on the Sasebo City Tourist Association’s website “Umikaze no Kuni” or the “Blue Switch Card” on Nissan’s website or in the “NissanConnect EV” application. Discounts, gifts at roadside stations and restaurants, and other services are available.
