Six JR Group station retailers nationwide will release the third series of “Limited Edition Commemorative Goods for the 150th Anniversary of the Railway” on October 4.

Tomytec’s “Railway Collection” series of display models of railcars will now include the “Collaboration ver. of 6 JR Passenger Companies,” the first time that cars from all 6 JR companies will be assembled in one product. There are a total of 10 types plus one secret type, including five types of cars that are being commercialized for the first time as part of the Railway Collection, including the secret type. The price is 1,540 yen for a single item and 15,400 yen for a boxed set.

Also available are “Iron Seals,” with illustrations of representative cars from the six JR companies on the front and explanations of each car on the back. 30 seals in total, five from each of the six companies, are included in a random box, and can be completed by purchasing one box, priced at 216 yen for a single item and 6480 yen for a box.

From the gel ink ballpoint pen “uni-ball-one,” a limited edition six-color set with charms of the main rolling stock of each company will be available. The coloring and ink colors are inspired by the colors of the six JR companies, and the set is limited to 3,000 sets nationwide. Serial numbers are printed on the inside of the base. The price is 2,860 yen.

On October 11, a set of two clear files will also go on sale. The set includes two sets: one with a map of sightseeing trains of the six JR companies on the front and a chronological table with a 50-year abbreviated history from 1973 to the present on the back, and the other with a list of major Shinkansen lines of the six JR companies on the front and a map of representative Shinkansen lines in Japan on the back.

The lineup also includes towel handkerchiefs and trading acrylic magnets.
