Hokkaido’s nationwide travel support, coupon dealers can be searched on the web. Visualized maps are also available.

Posted on 2022-10-042022-10-04 by Editor in Chief

Hokkaido will hold the nationwide travel support “HOKKAIDO LOVE! Discount” from October 11 to December 20 (including check-out on December 21).

As in other prefectures, 40% of the price of a trip to Hokkaido will be subsidized (up to 8,000 yen for travel products that include transportation, and up to 5,000 yen for other travel products), and a coupon (3,000 yen on weekdays and 1,000 yen on holidays) will be given that can be used to purchase souvenirs, etc. The coupon will continue to be called the “Hokkaido Support Coupon,” the same as the “DOMIN Wari” (prefectural residents’ discount) that is in effect until October 10, 2012. The coupons will continue to be called “Hokkaido Support Coupons,” the same name as the “DOMIN Wari” (prefectural residents’ discount) coupons in effect until October 10.

On the Hokkaido-Ouen Coupon website, you can search for stores by area or category, and you can also search for eligible stores from a diagram with pins plotted on a map.

The website is also accepting applications for new stores handling coupons from October 4 to 31, prior to the implementation of the nationwide travel support program. The company estimates that it will take about 10 days from the time of application for promotional tools and other materials to be sent out.
