Ishikawa Prefecture has launched a national travel support website.
Ishikawa Prefecture has named its nationwide travel support the “Ishikawa Travel Discount Campaign,” which runs from October 11 to December 20 (including check-out on December 21). The campaign will subsidize 40% of the price of a trip to Ishikawa (up to 8,000 yen for travel products with transportation/up to 5,000 yen for other travel products) and provide coupons (3,000 yen on weekdays/1,000 yen on holidays) that can be used to purchase souvenirs and other items.
The website explains examples of discounts with specific amounts, and also provides information on sightseeing in Noto, Kaga, Kanazawa, and Hakusan, as well as tourism campaigns conducted by the cities and towns.
In conjunction with the national travel support, a campaign will also be launched to give away local products to those staying in the prefecture. To apply, they need a flyer to be placed at lodging facilities.
