On October 5, Osaka Prefecture launched a national travel support website.
Osaka Prefecture has named the nationwide travel support “Osaka Welcome Campaign 2022” and the period is from October 11 to December 20 (including check-out on December 21). The subsidy will cover 40% of the cost of a trip to Osaka (up to 8,000 yen for travel products that include transportation/up to 5,000 yen for other travel products), and coupons (3,000 yen on weekdays/1,000 yen on holidays) will be given for use in purchasing souvenirs and other items.
The website introduces that the campaign will start on the 11th, and that it will be possible to search for eligible travel agencies, lodging businesses, and coupon merchants.
