Sumitomo Realty and Development held a presentation on October 6, revealing that Haneda Airport Garden, a commercial complex directly connected to Haneda Airport Terminal 3, will open in January 2023. Prior to the grand opening, Sumitomo Fudosan’s hotels, Villa Fontaine Premier Haneda Airport and Villa Fontaine Grand Haneda Airport, will open for general stays on December 21. The facilities were completed in March 2020, but their opening was postponed due to travel and movement restriction measures caused by the spread of the new coronavirus. Haneda Airport Garden will be anchored by the 1,717-room Villa Fontaine Haneda Airport hotel (two brands, Premier and Grand), the Belle Salle Haneda Airport, a 2,400m2 hotel with a MICE-compatible event hall and conference rooms, the Izumi Fuji and airplanes, and the Haneda Airport Garden Bus Terminal, a 15-berth all-weather bus terminal connecting regional cities and tourist attractions. The hotel will also feature a shopping area with approximately 90 diverse stores, including a variety of stores selling local specialty products and travel goods from all over Japan, as well as restaurants and a food court in the hotel. At the presentation, hotel rooms, part of the restaurant, and a natural hot spring with a view were shown to the press.

Villa Fontaine Haneda Airport is comprised of two brands: Premier and Grand. Villa Fontaine Haneda Airport is comprised of two brands: Premier, a luxury type of hotel, and Grand, which meets a variety of needs. All Premier rooms are riverside, and there are 160 rooms in 6 types ranging from 33 to 173m2. The hotel will offer a higher grade of hospitality with services that only a luxury hotel can provide, such as concierge service, 24-hour room service, a fitness room for the exclusive use of guests, and separate shower booths. The Grand, on the other hand, is a functional hotel that responds to the needs of the times by introducing automatic check-in machines in addition to a face-to-face reception desk. In addition, there are a total of 1,557 rooms of 12 types, including universal rooms that can accommodate wheelchair users.
