Yahoo-operated “IchiYu.com” is selling plans eligible for nationwide travel support, and starting October 11, discounts are being applied sequentially starting with prefectures that are ready to receive them.
Discounts are available for reservations made on ICHIKYU.com for accommodation at facilities with the “National Travel Support” mark. The discount is a flat rate of 40% of the nationwide travel price (up to 8,000 yen per night for travel products that include transportation, and up to 5,000 yen for other travel products), plus a local coupon (3,000 yen on weekdays, 1,000 yen on holidays) that can be used to purchase souvenirs.
Even if you have already made a reservation on ichiyu.com, it can be applied as long as you meet the conditions of each municipality in the nationwide travel support (presentation of proof of vaccination or negative result/confirmation of the person’s place of residence, etc.). Some municipalities have already closed the application period, so please check the official Web page for the latest information (reservations for Kyoto and Osaka Prefectures will be accepted from 9:00 a.m. on October 14).
In addition to the above discounts, the company also offers a unique benefit that grants 1-5% “ICHIKYU points” or “PayPay points” depending on the membership stage. Users can not only accumulate the points they have earned, but can also choose “Point Discount Now (immediate use of points),” which allows them to get an on-the-spot discount on the price of their trip. Details on usage conditions and other details are provided on the special page.
