Walt Disney Japan will release items featuring original artwork by Disney artists on October 21 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the first Disney Store in Japan.
For this series, five Disney artists have prepared art featuring Mickey Mouse, Pooh and Friends, Tinker Bell, Ariel and her six sisters, Stitch and Ohana. The word “30” is subtly hidden in the art and merchandise to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Disney Store.
The “Disney store 30th Anniversary Pop-up Museum,” featuring an exhibition looking back on 30 years of history and limited-edition merchandise sales, is also being held.
