Hoshinoya Tokyo (1-9-1 Otemachi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), a Japanese-style inn operated by Hoshino Resort, will launch the “More Oedo Stay” plan for Tokyo residents only on October 20 at 12:00 pm.
This plan is a combination of the “More Tokyo” project to promote tourism in Tokyo and the “TADAIMA TOKYO PLUS” nationwide travel support program to be launched on the same day. The plan includes Japanese-style rooms with tatami mats, hot spring baths with a Japanese flavor, meals that incorporate Edo culture, and a sake drinking contest.
There are also a variety of activities available to experience the charms of Tokyo, such as “Tenku Asa-Geiko” (free of charge), a swordsmanship practice 160 meters above the ground to refresh body and mind, and “Kon-sama Aroma Matching” (2,662 yen per person) using a modern version of an incense burner (reservations required for both activities).
Room rates start at 57,000 yen per night per person per room for double occupancy (from 70,000 yen per night before discount is applied). Breakfast, dinner, soba noodles, and sake tasting are included in the plan. The stay will be available from November 1 to December 20 (until check-in). Applications will be accepted on the official website of Hoshinoya Tokyo until 2:00 p.m. on the day of the stay.
